How To Uninstall python-django-countries On Debian 8

To uninstall python-django-countries just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-django-countries

provides a country field for Django modelsDebian 8.0python2.1.2-1
sudo apt-get remove python-django-countries

This will remove just the python-django-countries package itself.

Uninstall python-django-countries and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-django-countries

This will remove the python-django-countries package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-django-countries then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-django-countries

Or similarly, like this python-django-countries

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-django-countries
