How To Uninstall python-dumbnet On Debian 8

To uninstall python-dumbnet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-dumbnet

A dumb, portable networking library -- python bindingsDebian 8.0python1.12-6
sudo apt-get remove python-dumbnet

This will remove just the python-dumbnet package itself.

Uninstall python-dumbnet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-dumbnet

This will remove the python-dumbnet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-dumbnet then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-dumbnet

Or similarly, like this python-dumbnet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-dumbnet
