How To Uninstall python-egenix-mxuid On Debian 8

To uninstall python-egenix-mxuid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-egenix-mxuid

unique identifiers for PythonDebian 8.0python3.2.8-1
sudo apt-get remove python-egenix-mxuid

This will remove just the python-egenix-mxuid package itself.

Uninstall python-egenix-mxuid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-egenix-mxuid

This will remove the python-egenix-mxuid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-egenix-mxuid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-egenix-mxuid

Or similarly, like this python-egenix-mxuid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-egenix-mxuid
