How To Uninstall python-elixir On Debian 8

To uninstall python-elixir just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-elixir

declarative mapper for SQLAlchemyDebian 8.0python0.7.1-2
sudo apt-get remove python-elixir

This will remove just the python-elixir package itself.

Uninstall python-elixir and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-elixir

This will remove the python-elixir package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-elixir then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-elixir

Or similarly, like this python-elixir

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-elixir
