How To Uninstall python-exactimage On Debian 8

To uninstall python-exactimage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-exactimage

fast image manipulation library (Python bindings)Debian 8.0python0.8.9-7+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove python-exactimage

This will remove just the python-exactimage package itself.

Uninstall python-exactimage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-exactimage

This will remove the python-exactimage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-exactimage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-exactimage

Or similarly, like this python-exactimage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-exactimage
