How To Uninstall python-faulthandler On Debian 8

To uninstall python-faulthandler just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-faulthandler

Display the Python backtrace on a crashDebian 8.0python2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove python-faulthandler

This will remove just the python-faulthandler package itself.

Uninstall python-faulthandler and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-faulthandler

This will remove the python-faulthandler package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-faulthandler then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-faulthandler

Or similarly, like this python-faulthandler

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-faulthandler
