How To Uninstall python-fdb On Debian 8

To uninstall python-fdb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-fdb

Python2 DB-API driver for FirebirdDebian 8.0python1.4.1+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove python-fdb

This will remove just the python-fdb package itself.

Uninstall python-fdb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-fdb

This will remove the python-fdb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-fdb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-fdb

Or similarly, like this python-fdb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-fdb
