How To Uninstall python-fmcs On Debian 8

To uninstall python-fmcs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-fmcs

Find Maximum Common SubstructureDebian 8.0python1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove python-fmcs

This will remove just the python-fmcs package itself.

Uninstall python-fmcs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-fmcs

This will remove the python-fmcs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-fmcs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-fmcs

Or similarly, like this python-fmcs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-fmcs
