How To Uninstall python-forgetsql On Debian 8

To uninstall python-forgetsql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-forgetsql

Python module for easy SQL-database accessDebian 8.0python0.5.1-12
sudo apt-get remove python-forgetsql

This will remove just the python-forgetsql package itself.

Uninstall python-forgetsql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-forgetsql

This will remove the python-forgetsql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-forgetsql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-forgetsql

Or similarly, like this python-forgetsql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-forgetsql
