How To Uninstall python-gmenu On Debian 8

To uninstall python-gmenu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-gmenu

GNOME implementation of the freedesktop menu specificationDebian 8.0python3.0.1-4
sudo apt-get remove python-gmenu

This will remove just the python-gmenu package itself.

Uninstall python-gmenu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-gmenu

This will remove the python-gmenu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-gmenu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-gmenu

Or similarly, like this python-gmenu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-gmenu
