How To Uninstall python-gupnp-igd On Debian 8

To uninstall python-gupnp-igd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-gupnp-igd

Python binding for the UPnP IGD port mapping libraryDebian 8.0python0.2.4-1
sudo apt-get remove python-gupnp-igd

This will remove just the python-gupnp-igd package itself.

Uninstall python-gupnp-igd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-gupnp-igd

This will remove the python-gupnp-igd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-gupnp-igd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-gupnp-igd

Or similarly, like this python-gupnp-igd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-gupnp-igd
