How To Uninstall python-hachoir-urwid On Debian 8

To uninstall python-hachoir-urwid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-hachoir-urwid

Binary file explorer using Hachoir and urwid librariesDebian 8.0python1.1-3
sudo apt-get remove python-hachoir-urwid

This will remove just the python-hachoir-urwid package itself.

Uninstall python-hachoir-urwid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-hachoir-urwid

This will remove the python-hachoir-urwid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-hachoir-urwid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-hachoir-urwid

Or similarly, like this python-hachoir-urwid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-hachoir-urwid
