How To Uninstall python-imposm On Debian 8

To uninstall python-imposm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-imposm

importer for OpenStreetMap data - Python moduleDebian 8.0python2.5.0-3+b2
sudo apt-get remove python-imposm

This will remove just the python-imposm package itself.

Uninstall python-imposm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-imposm

This will remove the python-imposm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-imposm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-imposm

Or similarly, like this python-imposm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-imposm
