How To Uninstall python-indigo On Debian 8

To uninstall python-indigo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-indigo

Organic Chemistry Toolkit (Python module)Debian 8.0python1.1.12-1
sudo apt-get remove python-indigo

This will remove just the python-indigo package itself.

Uninstall python-indigo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-indigo

This will remove the python-indigo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-indigo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-indigo

Or similarly, like this python-indigo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-indigo
