How To Uninstall python-jsonpipe On Debian 8

To uninstall python-jsonpipe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-jsonpipe

Convert JSON to a UNIX-friendly line-based formatDebian 8.0python0.0.8-5
sudo apt-get remove python-jsonpipe

This will remove just the python-jsonpipe package itself.

Uninstall python-jsonpipe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-jsonpipe

This will remove the python-jsonpipe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-jsonpipe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-jsonpipe

Or similarly, like this python-jsonpipe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-jsonpipe
