How To Uninstall python-kdtree On Debian 8

To uninstall python-kdtree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-kdtree

container for kd-tree sorting for PythonDebian 8.0python0.7.1+git20101123-3+b2
sudo apt-get remove python-kdtree

This will remove just the python-kdtree package itself.

Uninstall python-kdtree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-kdtree

This will remove the python-kdtree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-kdtree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-kdtree

Or similarly, like this python-kdtree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-kdtree
