How To Uninstall python-kmodpy On Debian 8

To uninstall python-kmodpy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-kmodpy

Python binding for kmodDebian 8.0python0.1.10-1
sudo apt-get remove python-kmodpy

This will remove just the python-kmodpy package itself.

Uninstall python-kmodpy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-kmodpy

This will remove the python-kmodpy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-kmodpy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-kmodpy

Or similarly, like this python-kmodpy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-kmodpy
