How To Uninstall python-ldb-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall python-ldb-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-ldb-dbg

Python bindings for LDB - debug extensionDebian 8.0debug2:1.1.20-0+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove python-ldb-dbg

This will remove just the python-ldb-dbg package itself.

Uninstall python-ldb-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-ldb-dbg

This will remove the python-ldb-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-ldb-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-ldb-dbg

Or similarly, like this python-ldb-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-ldb-dbg
