How To Uninstall python-libcloud On Debian 8

To uninstall python-libcloud just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-libcloud

unified Python interface into the cloudDebian 8.0python0.15.1-1
sudo apt-get remove python-libcloud

This will remove just the python-libcloud package itself.

Uninstall python-libcloud and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-libcloud

This will remove the python-libcloud package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-libcloud then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-libcloud

Or similarly, like this python-libcloud

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-libcloud
