How To Uninstall python-liblinear On Debian 8

To uninstall python-liblinear just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-liblinear

Python bindings for LIBLINEARDebian 8.0python1.8+dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove python-liblinear

This will remove just the python-liblinear package itself.

Uninstall python-liblinear and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-liblinear

This will remove the python-liblinear package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-liblinear then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-liblinear

Or similarly, like this python-liblinear

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-liblinear
