How To Uninstall python-libmimic On Debian 8

To uninstall python-libmimic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-libmimic

A video codec for Mimic V2.x content (python bindings)Debian 8.0python1.0.4-2.2
sudo apt-get remove python-libmimic

This will remove just the python-libmimic package itself.

Uninstall python-libmimic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-libmimic

This will remove the python-libmimic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-libmimic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-libmimic

Or similarly, like this python-libmimic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-libmimic
