How To Uninstall python-mediainfodll On Debian 8

To uninstall python-mediainfodll just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-mediainfodll

library for reading metadata from media files -- shared libraryDebian 8.0python0.7.70-1
sudo apt-get remove python-mediainfodll

This will remove just the python-mediainfodll package itself.

Uninstall python-mediainfodll and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-mediainfodll

This will remove the python-mediainfodll package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-mediainfodll then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-mediainfodll
