How To Uninstall python-mpikmeans On Debian 8

To uninstall python-mpikmeans just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-mpikmeans

Python bindings for MPIKmeansDebian 8.0python1.5+dfsg-3
sudo apt-get remove python-mpikmeans

This will remove just the python-mpikmeans package itself.

Uninstall python-mpikmeans and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-mpikmeans

This will remove the python-mpikmeans package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-mpikmeans then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-mpikmeans

Or similarly, like this python-mpikmeans

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-mpikmeans
