How To Uninstall qrencode On Debian 8

To uninstall qrencode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qrencode

QR Code encoder into PNG imageDebian 8.0utils3.4.3-1
sudo apt-get remove qrencode

This will remove just the qrencode package itself.

Uninstall qrencode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qrencode

This will remove the qrencode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for qrencode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qrencode

Or similarly, like this qrencode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qrencode
