How To Uninstall qtikz On Debian 8

To uninstall qtikz just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qtikz

editor for the TikZ drawing language - Qt versionDebian 8.0graphics0.10-4
sudo apt-get remove qtikz

This will remove just the qtikz package itself.

Uninstall qtikz and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qtikz

This will remove the qtikz package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for qtikz then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qtikz

Or similarly, like this qtikz

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qtikz
