How To Uninstall va-driver-all On Debian 8

To uninstall va-driver-all just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just va-driver-all

Video Acceleration (VA) API -- driver metapackageDebian 8.0video1.4.1-1
sudo apt-get remove va-driver-all

This will remove just the va-driver-all package itself.

Uninstall va-driver-all and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove va-driver-all

This will remove the va-driver-all package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for va-driver-all then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge va-driver-all

Or similarly, like this va-driver-all

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove va-driver-all
