How To Uninstall valkyrie On Debian 8

To uninstall valkyrie just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just valkyrie

open-source graphical user interface for the ValgrindDebian 8.0devel2.0.0-1
sudo apt-get remove valkyrie

This will remove just the valkyrie package itself.

Uninstall valkyrie and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove valkyrie

This will remove the valkyrie package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for valkyrie then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge valkyrie

Or similarly, like this valkyrie

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove valkyrie
