How To Uninstall vamps On Debian 8

To uninstall vamps just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vamps

Tool to recompress and modify the structure of a DVDDebian 8.0video0.99.2-4
sudo apt-get remove vamps

This will remove just the vamps package itself.

Uninstall vamps and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vamps

This will remove the vamps package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vamps then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vamps

Or similarly, like this vamps

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vamps
