How To Uninstall varmon On Debian 8

To uninstall varmon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just varmon

VA RAID monitorDebian 8.0admin1.2.1-1
sudo apt-get remove varmon

This will remove just the varmon package itself.

Uninstall varmon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove varmon

This will remove the varmon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for varmon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge varmon

Or similarly, like this varmon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove varmon
