How To Uninstall distributed-net On Debian 8

To uninstall distributed-net just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just distributed-net

client to donate unused CPU cycles to distributed.netDebian 8.0non-free/misc2.9111.520-2
sudo apt-get remove distributed-net

This will remove just the distributed-net package itself.

Uninstall distributed-net and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove distributed-net

This will remove the distributed-net package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for distributed-net then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge distributed-net

Or similarly, like this distributed-net

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove distributed-net
