How To Uninstall make-doc On Debian 8

To uninstall make-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just make-doc

Documentation for the GNU version of the "make" utilityDebian 8.0non-free/doc4.0-2
sudo apt-get remove make-doc

This will remove just the make-doc package itself.

Uninstall make-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove make-doc

This will remove the make-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for make-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge make-doc

Or similarly, like this make-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove make-doc
