How To Uninstall mgltools-bhtree On Debian 8

To uninstall mgltools-bhtree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mgltools-bhtree

Bhtree library extension moduleDebian 8.0non-free/science1.5.7~rc1+cvs.20140424-1
sudo apt-get remove mgltools-bhtree

This will remove just the mgltools-bhtree package itself.

Uninstall mgltools-bhtree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mgltools-bhtree

This will remove the mgltools-bhtree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mgltools-bhtree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mgltools-bhtree

Or similarly, like this mgltools-bhtree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mgltools-bhtree
