How To Uninstall moncli On Debian 8

To uninstall moncli just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just moncli

Amazon CloudWatch ToolsDebian 8.0non-free/admin1.0.12.1-1
sudo apt-get remove moncli

This will remove just the moncli package itself.

Uninstall moncli and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove moncli

This will remove the moncli package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for moncli then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge moncli

Or similarly, like this moncli

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove moncli
