How To Uninstall w3-recs On Debian 8

To uninstall w3-recs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just w3-recs

Recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)Debian 8.0non-free/doc20110107-1
sudo apt-get remove w3-recs

This will remove just the w3-recs package itself.

Uninstall w3-recs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove w3-recs

This will remove the w3-recs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for w3-recs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge w3-recs

Or similarly, like this w3-recs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove w3-recs
