How To Uninstall alsa-firmware-loaders On Debian 9

To uninstall alsa-firmware-loaders just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alsa-firmware-loaders

ALSA software loaders for specific hardwareDebian 9.0contrib/sound1.1.3-1
sudo apt-get remove alsa-firmware-loaders

This will remove just the alsa-firmware-loaders package itself.

Uninstall alsa-firmware-loaders and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alsa-firmware-loaders

This will remove the alsa-firmware-loaders package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alsa-firmware-loaders then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alsa-firmware-loaders

Or similarly, like this alsa-firmware-loaders

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alsa-firmware-loaders
