How To Uninstall atari800 On Debian 9

To uninstall atari800 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just atari800

linuxAtari 8-bit emulator for SDLcontrib/otherosfs3.1.0-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove atari800

This will remove just the atari800 package itself.

Uninstall atari800 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove atari800

This will remove the atari800 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for atari800 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge atari800

Or similarly, like this atari800

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove atari800
