How To Uninstall b43-fwcutter On Debian 9

To uninstall b43-fwcutter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just b43-fwcutter

utility for extracting Broadcom 43xx firmwareDebian 9.0contrib/utils1:019-3
sudo apt-get remove b43-fwcutter

This will remove just the b43-fwcutter package itself.

Uninstall b43-fwcutter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove b43-fwcutter

This will remove the b43-fwcutter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for b43-fwcutter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge b43-fwcutter

Or similarly, like this b43-fwcutter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove b43-fwcutter
