How To Uninstall esix On Debian 9

To uninstall esix just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just esix

PDP-8 Engineering and Scientific Interpreter eXtendedDebian 9.0contrib/otherosfs1-3
sudo apt-get remove esix

This will remove just the esix package itself.

Uninstall esix and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove esix

This will remove the esix package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for esix then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge esix

Or similarly, like this esix

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove esix
