How To Uninstall fonts-firacode On Debian 9

To uninstall fonts-firacode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-firacode

Monospaced font with programming ligaturesDebian 9.0contrib/fonts1.204-2
sudo apt-get remove fonts-firacode

This will remove just the fonts-firacode package itself.

Uninstall fonts-firacode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-firacode

This will remove the fonts-firacode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-firacode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-firacode

Or similarly, like this fonts-firacode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-firacode
