How To Uninstall libdbd-oracle-perl On Debian 9

To uninstall libdbd-oracle-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdbd-oracle-perl

linuxPerl DBI driver for Oraclecontrib/perl1.74-3
sudo apt-get remove libdbd-oracle-perl

This will remove just the libdbd-oracle-perl package itself.

Uninstall libdbd-oracle-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdbd-oracle-perl

This will remove the libdbd-oracle-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdbd-oracle-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdbd-oracle-perl

Or similarly, like this libdbd-oracle-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdbd-oracle-perl
