How To Uninstall libpgplot-perl On Debian 9

To uninstall libpgplot-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpgplot-perl

perl interface to the pgplot plotting libraryDebian 9.0contrib/perl1:2.21-6+b1
sudo apt-get remove libpgplot-perl

This will remove just the libpgplot-perl package itself.

Uninstall libpgplot-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpgplot-perl

This will remove the libpgplot-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpgplot-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpgplot-perl

Or similarly, like this libpgplot-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpgplot-perl
