How To Uninstall libuutil1linux On Debian 9

To uninstall libuutil1linux just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libuutil1linux

linuxSolaris userland utility library for Linuxcontrib/libs0.6.5.9-5
sudo apt-get remove libuutil1linux

This will remove just the libuutil1linux package itself.

Uninstall libuutil1linux and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libuutil1linux

This will remove the libuutil1linux package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libuutil1linux then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libuutil1linux

Or similarly, like this libuutil1linux

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libuutil1linux
