How To Uninstall libydpdict2 On Debian 9

To uninstall libydpdict2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libydpdict2

linuxlibrary for reading Collins dictionariescontrib/libs1.0.4-3
sudo apt-get remove libydpdict2

This will remove just the libydpdict2 package itself.

Uninstall libydpdict2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libydpdict2

This will remove the libydpdict2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libydpdict2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libydpdict2

Or similarly, like this libydpdict2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libydpdict2
