How To Uninstall publicfile-installer On Debian 9

To uninstall publicfile-installer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just publicfile-installer

installer package for the publicfile HTTP and FTP serverDebian 9.0contrib/net0.12-1
sudo apt-get remove publicfile-installer

This will remove just the publicfile-installer package itself.

Uninstall publicfile-installer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove publicfile-installer

This will remove the publicfile-installer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for publicfile-installer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge publicfile-installer

Or similarly, like this publicfile-installer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove publicfile-installer
