How To Uninstall python-pycuda On Debian 9

To uninstall python-pycuda just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-pycuda

linuxPython module to access Nvidia‘s CUDA parallel computation APIcontrib/python2016.1.2+git20161024-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove python-pycuda

This will remove just the python-pycuda package itself.

Uninstall python-pycuda and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-pycuda

This will remove the python-pycuda package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-pycuda then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-pycuda

Or similarly, like this python-pycuda

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-pycuda
