How To Uninstall ruby-googlecharts On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-googlecharts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-googlecharts

Ruby library to generate charts using Google Chart APIDebian 9.0contrib/ruby1.6.12-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-googlecharts

This will remove just the ruby-googlecharts package itself.

Uninstall ruby-googlecharts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-googlecharts

This will remove the ruby-googlecharts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-googlecharts then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-googlecharts

Or similarly, like this ruby-googlecharts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-googlecharts
