How To Uninstall 389-admin On Debian 9

To uninstall 389-admin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just 389-admin

linux389 Directory Administration Servernet1.1.43-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove 389-admin

This will remove just the 389-admin package itself.

Uninstall 389-admin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove 389-admin

This will remove the 389-admin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for 389-admin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge 389-admin

Or similarly, like this 389-admin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove 389-admin
