How To Uninstall 9base On Debian 9

To uninstall 9base just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just 9base

Plan 9 userland toolsDebian 9.0utils1:6-7+b1
sudo apt-get remove 9base

This will remove just the 9base package itself.

Uninstall 9base and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove 9base

This will remove the 9base package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for 9base then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge 9base

Or similarly, like this 9base

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove 9base
