How To Uninstall 9wm On Debian 9

To uninstall 9wm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just 9wm

X11 window manager inspired by Plan 9's rioDebian 9.0x111.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove 9wm

This will remove just the 9wm package itself.

Uninstall 9wm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove 9wm

This will remove the 9wm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for 9wm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge 9wm

Or similarly, like this 9wm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove 9wm
