How To Uninstall a2ps On Debian 9

To uninstall a2ps just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just a2ps

GNU a2ps - 'Anything to PostScript' converter and pretty-printerDebian 9.0text1:4.14-2
sudo apt-get remove a2ps

This will remove just the a2ps package itself.

Uninstall a2ps and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove a2ps

This will remove the a2ps package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for a2ps then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge a2ps

Or similarly, like this a2ps

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove a2ps
